Awesome render, the reflection isn't noisy but keeps the scene from seeming empty

Thanks a lot for :+fav:!
Two hours!? How many AA-passes did you throw on that thing?

If you kill them, they will die.

The piggy bank is a lesson in communism. You have to smash the poor ceramic pig to get to your money. The pig dies for the greater good.
this almost looks like a real object. looks as real as a papercraft model to me

This is the Garden of Kadesh. For thirteen generations, we have protected it from the Unclean...
Erm... it's not anti-alias which made it that long. AA took only about 30 minutes. Most time was taken by reflective ground which reflects about 5 lights I used here, ground, as you see, isn't mirror which is easy to calculate, but it's rather very blurred reflection with some color overlay... and metallic ship... heh, long story, but it all makes render long. Still - effect is almost as good as I wanted it to be.
Hehehe, thanks Hiroshi, it's the best compliment I heard about it!
I played around and made it even more detailed, as soon as I'll finish rendering short movie clip with this model, I'll re-render this with new, more detailed texture, and most likely nicer reflection from ground - as this one is bit too noisy.
:film: Uki, animation with this model is ready to watch - it's very short fly-by around ship, mostly to test how good it would look like in movie sequences (motion blur... metalic hull, and so on... you know). In picture description you can find links - I would suggest downloading, but you can always watch in on youtube too (but in there it looks ugly).
